Sclerotherapy Disaster - Skin Renewal Westrand - Dr Marecia Duvenhage
Worst experience ever. Dr Marecia Duvenhage, consulted with me iro vain treatment, sclerotherapy. Treatment was done, paid for 60 min, completed in 30min, . The treatment NEVER worked, veins became worst, darker than before and refused to refund or to redo the treatment. All she could do was informed me to wear compression stocking? Forever?? Thnk before you consult with this doctor.

The duration of your procedure was 60 minutes as confirmed by the branch manager at the time of your initial enquiry.
Dr Maricia advised during your consultation that treatment results may take up to 6 - 8 weeks (and sometimes even longer) providing that the post care instructions are followed. It has only been approximately 3 weeks since your procedure.
The areas that appear different in colour is due to trapped blood in the veins and is to be expected. This will be reabsorbed by the body over time.
Compression stockings are generally worn 4 - 6 weeks post sclerotherapy as explained during your consultation.
