Defective Product

Myself and my family have always loved Skechers. When my wife's employer asked what she could get my kids for there birthday, we said Skechers.She bought them each a pair that they loved. R1500 a pair.On the 1st day of my son wearing them they started peeling off the front. We then took it into Skechers Sandton city and they informed us we need to take it in to where we purchased it at Skechers mall of Africa. We took it to them for an assesment. After 2 weeks Chris (The person in charge) they said that there is nothing wrong with the shoes as there has been no other complaints about this product. He then said I could take it to my nearest store for them to reassess them. They claimed they would send it into there Head Office.A few days later they informed us there's nothing wrong with the shoes, they don't have a Head office and they wont replace them . It seems there's no one to contact in South Africa to take responsibility. While I am extremely disappointed with their service, I will move on and share my experience with all the family and friends I have recommended Skechers to over the years.
