Worst service from Sizwe Hosmed

My daughter was hospitalized in November for her appendix removal. Till today we are going back and forth trying to get payments made to Lancet and the surgeon.

Sizwe Hosmed has been giving us the run around for 6 months now. We have wasted hundreds on rands on airtime trying to get payment done. Their call centre agents are clueless and have no idea about what is happening. There seems to be a problem with internal communication between departments because no one is willing to do their jobs and pay the damn bills to the respective service provider. They refuse to do their jobs unless we follow up with it....

I have been phoning every month at least twice a month and there are always problems with the pre-authorizing / tariff codes not linked. The response from the call centre agent is that the matter will be escalated but we receive no feedback. Nothing seems to be done unless we call and nag them. Following numerous calls, last week 19th May we phoned and queried why the surgeon was not paid they said everything was now linked and will be sent to the claims department for payment, so we followed up yesterday 27th May to check whether the payment was authorized and payment made. Guess what it's still NOT PAID another delay tactic from Sizwe that some matter was not sorted out in December 2024. I want someone to contact me regarding this matter ASAP.
