Unpaid Hospital account

I was admitted for hip replacement December 2024 I am blind and needed a hip replacement due lupus side effects, medical aid did not pay my in hospital account. By law it says my hospital account at DSP must be paid in full what is the reason it took 1 year and this is a PMB why was it not paid in full
