Sizwe/Hosmed Inefficiency and customer frustration

Sizwe was fine. I heard of the merger with Hosmed coming up. They sent out a poll to find out if the members agree/disagree with the impending merger. I knew Hosmed was bad so I said I disagree. They merged anyway and now Sizwe/Hosmed is inefficient and bad. Mistakes are made in processing to the correct part of your cover, bills are paid really late. It takes so long for them to pay a claim that you get emails about outstanding accounts and you don't even know if your bills are not paid yet but Sizwe is going to in some months time or if the SCHEME has actually rejected the claim. They also don't communicate well. I simply don't get responses. I have to resort to going through the medical aid broker for every little thing and even then I'm lucky if things work out because the broker obviously struggles to get a response out of Sizwe as well. I do not recommend using Sizwe/Hosmed.
