Sizwe **** medical fund

I joined Swize medical fund in september 2019 and in June 2020 my little one fell ill and I had to be admitted with her.I was requested to do covid19 test in the hospital before the admission,and my daughter and I had the tests done.Her discovery medical aid paid and my Sizwe medical aid ddnt pay for my tests,I contacted them and explained my situation to them and they responded to me saying that the matter has been resolved implying that the payment has been settled.Fast forward to April year 2021 the laboratory where my covid19 tests were done contacted me reminding me of my outstanding account amounting to the price of the covid19 test the Sizwe medical aid team told me it was taken care of,Sizwe medical fund never paid for my covid19 test and I phoned them again asking why the laboratory was never paid.After waiting on the phone for over 30min I was transferred from one division to another being told a back an forth story,until I finally told them that they cnt keep transfering me to one division just to be transferred back to the division I previously talked to,then that's when i was told that the medical aid cnt pay for my covid19 tests because the results came back negative..this people told me they only pay if your results come back positive,like how absurd is that? I must mention that before that I was never able to use the medical aid for anything,there was always stories when I needed to buy over the counter medication or when i had to go for consultations. I would be told that the system says I'm not a member which I will try resolve with the medical aid and I'll be told that its resolved or just having the gps or optometrist refusing to help me straight up because of their experience with the Sizwe medical aid.I was never able to use the medical aid not even once from september 2019 to December 2020 when I finally realized that I was being ****med of my money every single month from the medical aid that was not benefiting me in any way..This review is to make sure that no one finds themselves in the same situation as me,Imagine if my child's medical aid was not paying for my hospital stay,I could have been in big trouble because we were admitted for two weeks.It hurts to pay a medical aid every single month just for you to end up being in a more desperate situation than someone who doesn't even have a medical aid at all.Dont even think of taking medical aid cover with Sizwe medical aid.Rather invest your hard earned money on a decent,professional and reliable medical aid that is not looking to **** you and Sizwe is not among medical aids you want to rely on in your time of need..If you want Sizwe medical aid to pay for your claim you must do your covid tests when you are sure that your results will come back positive otherwise the wont pay if the results are negative,with a medical aid like this you are better off with no medical aid,they deserve a rating of 0 star from me by way
