Sizwe Hosmed new plans not as good as in the past

I have been a Sizwe customer for many years, even when I was still living at home. Recently they merged with Hosmed and it seems Sizwe Hosmed now merged all their benefits into one day to day.

The problem is, I have a baby boy less than one year old and now suddenly everything from GP visits, pathology, dentistry etc. etc. all comes from your day to day. There are no specialist visits left or even paediatricians visits which is difficult having an infant. I am on the platinum enhanced package and lately feels like they pay for nothing. Month later I received a call from the hospital where my wife gave birth, and they have short paid the hospital even though I had a pre-authorization in advance.

In the past Sizwe had divisions, if you GP visits were depleted for the year you could still visit a dentist or specialist. It seems like Sizwe and I will have split paths even though I have been a member for probably 20 years now.
