Since we upgraded from copper core to gold ascend we have had the worst experience not only do we not get any feedback from the medical aid after countless emails there is just an utter lack of service ...we thought upgrading will bring us better cover but we having less cover and more co payments and rejections we never had on the cheaper plan ...i was in an accident 25/03/24 a serious car accident at no fault of my own and i am still struggling to get things paid ..medical aid rejecting even hospital bill ..and getting no feed back then my daughter went for an open heart operation which is a pmb plus she is registered chronic heart valve condition...life saving operation she couldnt go without now we getting hspt bills xrays and specialist bills being rejected ...the breast brace that needs to be worn since the ribcage gets seperated during open heart operation thats not even paid ....we sitting with thousands of unpaid medical bills both for serious pbm conditions ..ido not know what to do and siswe quick to just reject accounts but no to assist ....very infuriated and disappointed
