Pathetic medical aid

I am so disappointing with this medical aid, this is by far the worst medical aid.

My mother who was on Bestmed till 31/12/2017 had to change medical aids ( due to retirement) , so she started the application process in February with one of Sizwe MF 's brokers. She only received the application forms beginning March , which she returned immediately. The application took 3 months ( which I find very ridiculous ). Only to find out that the approval will be from the 1st July, with a 3 months waiting period , 12 months condition-specific waiting period and a late joiner penalty fee.

So Sizwe Medical Fund's slow process has affected not only the waiting periods but also her contribution fee. When we call the call center to get clarity on this, their call center agents are as ridiculous as this medical aid.

My mother is cancelling this medical aid and will advise people not to join this medical aid as it is a *******. If their application process is as pathetic I wonder how is their claims process...
