Disreputable service

i joined Sizwe medical aid on the 01/01/2016 on the savings care option. On Tuesday the 29 of the 11th month i received an email from Sizwe stating that the option will no longer be available and that i have to choose a different option and also that the amount which was paid to Sizwe would be reimbursed to me.

Note on the below :

Due to the Hospital Care Option having no day to day benefits accessed through a savings account and in line with rule 34.8. of the Scheme rules, any balance standing to the credit of the member in the savings account will be refunded to the member, not later than four (4) months after transfer and subject to applicable taxation laws.

The four months period will allow sufficient time for all outstanding claims to be received and provider accounts to be settled should any consultations have taken place up to 31 December 2016.

i have followed up on numerous occasions with Sizwe who assured me that this would be paid to me and untill now i have not received the funds.

since the 1st of April i have tried to get into contact with the consultant who gave me the assurance Leslie Tarr who is the supposed Senior Manager of Billing & Administration and further even sent an email to the CFO of Sizwe with no response.

i am very displeased by this and would not recomend Sizwe to anyone who would like to know the medical needs are in safe hands.
