Complaints not acknowledged

Hi, I was told by 1 of the consultants to send an email to SizweHosmed and this was to the complaints department on the 3rd of April 2024. I added again to the email on the 9th and again today. The complaint is I have been getting a schedule 4 sleeping tablet since November 2023 and when I queried about which funds it will be deducted from I was told it's from a special benefit so for 3 months it came out from that benefit. However in February and March it came off my acute benefit. I contacted them several times and was told it will be refunded and deducted from the special benefit. I called so many times and were told that it's been escalated. I used to be transfered to various departments and apparently it was a schedule 2 and this year it became a schedule 4 which is not the truth.

I gave them several chances to respond to no avail and I was told today it takes a day for someone to respond.

I spent over R300 on airtime just last month to them because I had to wait up to 30+ minutes and on few occasions the consultants were busy engaging in their own personal conversations ignoring the call that was channelled to them. Then I have to cut the call and redial.

Really disappointed with their service especially not even an email of acknowledgement or a phone call received.

My acute funds are almost depleted but they seem to have a don't care attitude. If they had changed anything with regards to my medication then it should have been flagged at the pharmacy. I just wish that for the past 2 months I'm refunded as it's not my fault.
