Pathetic, inconsiderate, empty, false, **** promises who just want to lure members to keep them afloat.

This whole year I have been fighting For "Quality & Professional" health care.

Having been a member on it for the past 13 years & had to fight this entire year to have my Hospital account from last year November 2024 & only after putting up a review on this site did I get that sorted out which was on the 21st of July 2025.

I needed to have scans & x-rays but could not have it done due to them being 1stly under provincial curatorship. Then after the 27/09/25 we received an email stating my premiums will be increased by R742 (about 20%) & this being the 2nd price hike. In January & again at the end of October. In between that the High court agreed to the premium increase which was even approved after the initial increase email was sent out. In this time many medical providers pulled out when it was changed over to just curatorship. I was practically begging for service & the only thing I really benefited from was my chronic meds.

I reached out to the Council of Medical Schemes & even with him being a Senior Manager intervening on my behalf it fell on deaf ears. On the 27/11/25 I got an email saying that I could go back to my current providers & proceed with my tests, scans & x-rays. On the 17th of this month I got hospitalized yet to my horror only the hospital accepted my stay & x-rays required me to pay upfront...I emailed them & was told that they have agreed to assist me having sign an I owe you document but no one was aware of it & whenever the nurses contacted x-rays they said they can not as they received a memo from their Head Office stating they will no longer be accepting any Sizwe-Hosmed members due to a huge outstanding debt. I received a call on Thursday promising me that they will rectify it & looking back is just an empty promise as I was informed that by 2pm which never happen.

On Friday still they were not ready to allow me to have my scans done so basically I took forced discharge as there was really nothing that was done. Only after my Doctor discharged me then x-rays agreed to do the scans but I would have to sign an I owe you document...which is very scary to sign on something that I was liable for. And also waiting for almost the whole morning I had eaten. I was embarrassed everytime I was turned down. Having been in pain, discomfort, swollen joints lesions on my legs & a bit on my hands was very cruel, insensitive & heartless.

I sent them emails on Friday & gave them an ultimatum that by 2pm today if I do not get feedback I will be putting a stop on my premiums.

I sent so many emails today & I have stated that after 2pm whatever happens will be their fault. All this that I sacrificed was mainly to be on a medical aid due to my ailments & my assessments for my disability & they knew about it from day 1.

They even were contacted by the CMS to no avail.

I even asked them on Friday to allow me to resign without having a months given notice. So I could join another 1 & rightfully so it should have been authorized as the pain, loss, frustration I had to endure this whole year or they could transfer this years MRI/CT benefit over to next years funds so whatever I didn't do this year I could have it done in January.

After them seeing this email I do not want a apology or thank you for your patience I want compensation or they will be dealing with a lot more than this review.

They have been warned & failed me in every possible way.
