Firstly it is very disappointing from Hello Peter because I was actually the first person to write a review about this company and it was deleted. The two people who got ****med by John would not have been ****med had my review not been deleted.

My partner and I paid John Gontse R450K to renovate a flip house in Krugersdorp Rangeview, and he did not complete the job. He is a **** and a ***** and makes plenty of promises that he never keeps. The quote to complete the renovations was R650k on a 4 bedroom house. We had an agreement that we would breakdown the payments in phases as he completes the various stages of the renovations. The first phase went without any issues, where he removed rubble, did some plastering, replaced plumbing pipes and electrical cables , removed and replaced tiles and installed Aluminium Windows. We paid him the first R150k for this. The second phase was to install wardrobes, install fittings for bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs) and kitchen, and start the foundation for the garage. We first paid him R250k for this phase and later an additional R50k as he said we added items that we didn’t specify we wanted and they turned out to be expensive. Of the items that were supposed to be completed on the second phase he only installed wardrobes and started the foundation for the garage then the lies started. He had a car accident, then his wife got sick, then his car broke down and eventually stopped coming to work. His employees were staying onsite to guard the property, and he stopped paying them so we had to take over paying construction workers that are not actually working.
