Sixt Rides a **** Operation
I believe I was ****med on this booking. 30 minutes before the driver was scheduled to arrive at our home in Johannesburg , I received a notice that the driver was on his way. From Cape Town! Estimated drive time over 13 hours! I am so disappointed. This was supposed to be a simple ride booking to assist a friend to get from our house to the medical center. I sent an email asking for clarification and when I didn’t get a response, I cancelled the trip.
I was charged full price.
Terrible, disappointing service, but more importantly you put my friend’s health at risk.

20 May 2022, 17:44The operator contacted me shortly after I emailed them with this complaint. They were prompt and attentive, explaining the issue and issuing a full refund as well as a voucher. Because of how the situation has been handled, I will give Sixt another try.
