I'll never use them again

I hired a car at Bloemfontein Airport.

1. Instead of pre-authorising the deposit on my credit card, they charged it, and refunded it a few days later. The exchange rate had moved against me so I lost money. This is completely unacceptable. Luckily I wasn't at the end of the month for my credit card, otherwise the 16500 rand would have come out of my bank account.

2. I refuelled the car at the nearest petrol station immediately before returning it. They managed to squeeze in another litre, which they billed me for, plus an admin fee. They refused to refund this.

I will never use First Car Rental/Sixt again.
