They were requested to Scotch Guard out lounge suite on 3 April 2021. They came and were showed the suite in the TV room. We have a wooden laminated floor with plastic type skirtings. When I went to check how they are progressing the suite and floor were water drenched. Apparently they were deep cleaning the set. They also pulled the furniture along the floor damaging the skirtings badly. The two guys that did the work were quite smug and we called Mbali, the owner. She sent a supervisor to come and check. The lounge suite was carried outside to dry out in the sun. They left eventually and promises were made to pay for the damage. Mbali said that the assessor of her insurance company will come and do an assessment prior to them getting the floor repaired. The damage was assessed by the company who installed our floors. He told us that the water seeped under the floor boards and future damage will occur. To fix the floor and skirtings came to about R2500. O0. The quotation was sent to Mbali. At the beginning of June 2021 she promised to get it fixed by the end of June 2021. Well, it is 7 July 2021 and nothing has been done. She doesn't answer her phone or respond to Whatsapp messages. Don't use them.
