Do not use SirTar. Con artist deluxe.

After searching the internet to asphalt/tar my driveway, I was contacted by a person by the name of Mark. He was very helpful in the initial stages of our business dealings, but went downhill very fast after he took my money. Mark came to our house and gave a quote to do 275m2 of asphalt/tar. After agreeing on a price, a date was set to do the asphalt/tar, and Mark and his guys were there bright and early to prepare the ground and make arrangements to get everything done. I was very surprised to see that Mark and his team were finished by the time I got home, which was around 6pm. Being very excited Mark showed me what they had done, and I was impressed that they finished in one day. Being late in the evening, I could not really inspect the work done, but Mark insured me that everything was fine. Believing him, I paid him in full and he left later that evening. The very next morning I walked out to the driveway to look at this great improvement to our home, only to be horrified to see a 35 cm deep hole on the left side of the driveway. After seeing this, I started looking around the rest of the area and the truth came out. Cracks had appeared and the workmanship was not up to the standard that Mark had promised. I contacted Mark about this, and he promised me that he would come out and fix the problems. HA HA. Mark gave me excuse after excuse why he could not come back, the last excuse being that I live too far and it's not worth his while to come and fix the mess. After repeatedly contacting Mark and sending him photos of the problems, he did not even open them and now he has blocked me on WhatsApp. I phoned him from my wife's phone and he has blocked her as well. It's been four months now, and Mark has still not responded. On Mark's quote to me, he stated that the sub-base was to be 100mm thick and the asphalt/tar 30mm thick. After inspection, it has come to light that the sub-base is mostly 30-50mm thick and in some places less than that. The asphalt/tar which should have been 30mm thick as quoted on is only 5-10mm thick, and in some areas the sub-base can be seen in between the asphalt/tar. Mark is in my opinion a con artist and should not be in business at all. I would seriously advise anyone wanting to do business with SirTar or Mark, to stay away as far as possible, because you are going to be sorry.
