Took deposit for work to be undertaken not done

I engaged Umiek singh to carry out some renovations at my home, He asked for a deposit, which i paid, the final part of the deposit was paid on the 05/09/2015. Mr Singh assured me that the work would be done within a month. he then did a portion of the work, and then didnt pitch for several days in between. upon getting in touch with him,he said he was having vehicle problems. this is now gone on for more than 2 months, he hides my calls and text messages are read without a response. i would like to warn others of SMS - umiek singhs ********* ways
