Singer Sewing Machine No Backup Service

<p>DO NOT PURCHASE A SINGER Sewing machine and then expect backup service when needed. I bought a new Singer 9100 about 2 years ago, and obviously was promised Singer backup is no problem. Well the machine display packed up and we took it to Singer in Germiston. I was told the PC board packed up and they needed to order a new one. Well to date and now about 3 months later no board has arrived. The excuse that Singer overseas re located and it appears to be impossible to import spares, well for at least 3 months now. We thought we bought a good product with a reputable name but this surely was not the case.</p> <p> </p>
