Happy Our Borehole Is Expertly Done!!

We have contracted with SingaManzi Water to drill us a borehole and were getting impatiently waiting for them. We even wanted to complain to HelloPeter but we thought to give them the benefit of the doubt. Once the team arrived to our premises they have taken their utmost best attention to cover our property with sails and tarps and have tried their very best to not damage or leave a mess. The process was daunting but these guys are professionals in any other way. I read reviews here that they are ****sters and so on but trust me, they are only lagging behind other projects, but the service we received was great. Once they are on site, these guys know what to do.

Due to our property being close to the beach, we had to resort to a different drilling and more expensive drilling process and Schalk took his time to explain the process and we agreed to it. A supposed 3 day job turned to a 10 day project, of which these guys excelled and worked long hours getting casing driven into our borehole.

The project cost was slightly higher due to the sand formation we encountered, but it all made sense in the end. We are now of the water mains, and we use our borehole only. We have tested the water and have some impurities in it, However the Singaamanzi guys advised on filtration and have called in others to quote. Singaamanzi's quote was by far cheaper than the others, but they are 4 months booked out on filtration.

I now understand why these guys get a bad review because their timelines can never be met, as they do not know what to expect from under ground. Now that I have been through this process I can tell you, its daunting but so worth it in the end. Our water bill of R6k a month is no longer. Within a year we would have come close to recover our investment on the borehole and we dont have the stress of Durban North constantly getting cut by municipality.
