Borehole completed

We were asked to give an honest review of this company. We have been well advised by the manager Chris of what to expect before and during the drilling period and we were made aware of all the pitfalls, extra costs, and filtration that may be required.

We have paid a deposit to book our job with them on a waiting list and have been waiting for over 4 months, however regular updates were given as to the progress of our position on the waiting list. We were happy as the company informed us weekly to fortnightly.

Once our date was due the team arrived and were setting up machines on our very small property, taking utmost care of our garden and driveway. The drilling went on for two days, and the casing was driven into the ground. The borehole was fairly weak initially and despite our initial target of 80m Jed the operator suggested another 20m as he said we were almost on the water. Indeed at 89m we hit a gusher of water and the borehole was stopped at 32,000 liters and 102m in depth.

The team packed up and cleaned the site, and removed the drilled debris at their own cost, discounting us for the services due to the long wait. Chris has also sent the pump technicians to do a manhole thing covering our borehole and the pump was installed and linked to our own tanks which we had installed to catch rainwater.

The whole exercise went well, all as described by our initial dealings with them, and it was made to be sounding much worse than it is. The various teams were on our property for around 7 days - the manhole thing taking the longest to put into our driveway and to have the cement cure.

Our very strong borehole is now shared to fellow neighbours, we have asked a private plumber to bring a tap to the outside of our gate. The private plumber was also putting some filteration units on the tank.

I will recommend their services but they are in fact too busy and you will wait for them, but what a pleasant and professional service we experienced.
