Theft of deposit. No work done. No response from company.

Contracted this company to build a new thatch roof on my building project. Dumisane Mpande quoted me R64000 for the job and demanded a 50% deposit in order to secure material. I paid the R32500 so that the work can commence and the fellow no longer responded to emails and my calls went answered. This is undoubtedly theft under false pretense.
