I have complained before about Sine Tech. I am compalining again because they have failed to remove misleading advertsing from their website. Their Omnipower batteries do not last a quarter of the advertised lifespan. They are expensive when compared to other suppliers too.

I bought 9.6 kWh of Omnipower batteries from Sinetech. They promised a ten year lifespan if I used the batteries at less than 20% depth of discharge. I infact used less than 15% per day. The batteries lasted less than a year.

Secondly their salesman Karl Hullemeier supp**** me three PWM charge controllers always making excuses whey they didn't work. There was never an investigation by a qualfied engineer, They left checking it out to this bufoon who actually doen't give a hoot.

I waited months for Sinetech to supply me lugs that were required for my solar panels, but were not available at th etime of pruchase. I eventually gave up pestering Kark for the lugs when it was evodent there was no resolve to deal with the problem,

Because the wiring lacked lugs that was supposed to fit the wires to the Solar World panels, there was instufficient contacts an the wires evetuallt oxidized from arcing. Because the lugs were not available for about a year, I eventually opened the system and soldered my wiring direct to the contacts. It is an ugly job, but at least it now works. There are far better system available on the market that carry a 25 years guarantees that is insured, so you don't have to bother to fight with the supplier to get satisfaction. These panels are supp**** by C0Sun. They have locking mechinisms that make it impossible to arc.

I complained to seniour managers at Sinetech and found them equally inefficient and frankly unknowledgeable. They didn't listen, so i escalated it to Hello Peter who kindly published my complaint. Instead of dealing with the problems they became grumpy and refused to speak to me or service the equipment I bought, So I was compelled to go on a course to do it for myself.

To conclude, at the timeI dealt with this company two odd years ago there was not iota of intention to deleiver their sales promises and it is evident that attitude remains the same.

Whatever you do don't buy Omnipower batteries.
