Specialists? Not according to my experience.

Sinetech advertise themselves as "specialists in the supply and installation of PV Solar Power Systems, UPS Systems, DC & AC Power Backup Systems, Solar Components, Inverters & Battery Chargers"

And yet...

On 15 June 2018, I clicked on Sinetech's sales email address which I found in the "contact details" section of their web site. It opened my email client.

I emailed them 2 questions:

1. Could you help me put together a system that will keep my entertainment systems powered up during the duration of the 2 ½ hours of load shedding? and 2. Will your Power trolley 8 provide me with the required time? I attached a spreadsheet listing all the appliances that I wanted to connect to the inverter and indicated for each appliance: a) The measured current; b) The calculated Kw rating (measured current x 220v); c) The maximum hours of operation (in this case 2,5), and d) The total Kwh for each appliance.

Six days later, I got an email from their "business development executive" asking me for my spreadsheet once again, which I sent on the same day.

On 04/07/2018, I emailed Sinetech a simple message: "If you guys cannot or are unwilling to answer my question please reply to this email with a simple statement such as "not interested in your business". It has been almost 3 weeks since I posted my query on your web site"

I got a reply from their "business development executive" quoting me their brochure.

Hey guys, if your brochure answered my question, I would not have had to contact you.

Beware of the misleading marketing jargon.
