I installed a fairly substantial system with all of the bells and whistles which I purchased from Sinetech. 18 months after the installation I was advised that the engineering department needed to review the performance of my system to do fine-tuning on the settings. This was completed at the cost of two hours of engineering service charges. With the first automatic firmware update, the settings were wiped and default settings programmed back into the system. I have since called numerous times (more than twenty times) and also sent several emails to which the company responded, however, it seems there is no longer anybody smart enough to program the Victron inverter. My advice - support Joe down the street, at least you can get to him when something does not work.
