Bad service

Since I am being pressed to write a review by Hellopeter, I will briefly describe our experience with Simply Store, to get it off my chest. We moved from Durban to Cape Town in 2017, so that our son could get specialised treatment for bone cancer. We used Simply Store, and their removal arm H&M Removals. When the goods got to Cape Town we checked that the truck had arrived, and that our lock was still on the trailer. They then took our goods, presumably, into their storage facility. When we wanted to retrieve our goods, we were told that they could not be found. This went on for roughly a year. Eventually they found them, and we retrieved some of the goods, with the balance being delivered, after much negotiation and complaints from us. We discovered that anything removable, small and valuable had disappeared - power tools, musical instruments, computers etc. So obviously someone had rifled through our goods, taking what they wanted. By that stage, 2019, I was so sick of it all, on top of us having to deal with our sons condition, that I did not have the energy to pursue it any further. So in short, my experience with H&M and Simply Store was a bad one, where they allow their customers goods to be ******, or facilitate it, and consequently I cannot recommend them at all.
