Declined life cover

My mum app**** for life cover in January 2024.

August 2022 My mum had colon cancer which was removed and cleared before been discharged, I have requested Simplylife to obtain a medical report as there is a fee for this. October 2023 My mum returned to hospital cause she discovered a growth on her right side of her stomach, she went to hospital for assistance but was told there is a delay or some issue with the lab and was only given a date for the 6th February 2024, she had not known at the time that the cancer has returned as the hospital was still running tests and referred her to Joburg Jen April this year to receive chemo, unfortunately due to the Helen Joseph's negligence and delay my mum passed on 28th July and now Simplylife refuses to pay the life cover.
