Bad quality caramel

On 27/08/2015 I bought 2 tins of Simpli Caramel Bach numbers BCH 32 Prod: 20 Nov 2014 Exp: 19 Feb 2016. & BCH 18 Prod: 20 Jan 2015 Exp: 19 April 2016. I started working with the one tin and notices sugar lumps, I opened the second one and again, different batch but same content. It was the first time in my life that I had to sift caramel, it took me ages and still there was sugar lumps left.
