Complaint about the Simple App for Nutrition
I'm not sure if this is the right company but it's the closest to what I think. I asked for information from Simple who give you an app to help with healthy nutrition. The sign up was 10 dollars. I paid this to get the app which turned out to be very user unfriendly. I then deleted it and wrote off the money as lesson learned. The next month 44 dollars was taken out of my account without my permission. When I queried this with them, I was told to read the terms and conditions as they were allowed to take off subscriptions even when the app has been deleted. I didn't even realise that I was subscribed or that there was a subscription that I had to cancel. I thought that I had just paid to try out the app. I am concerned that this is happening to many people out there. Can I get some feedback on this matter?.Is there any recourse? R723.50 is a lot on money to lose.
