Horrid workwear sizing disaster!
I recently bought 28 extra overalls just to make up for an order gone wrong and even that order came back wrong!
There is no consistancy in how the sizing is documented and communicted. I placed my initial order based on the WAIST sizes of contisuits required. I returned with a list of additional items required as the intial order had too many small sizes and not enough of the bigger sizes. As the items are customized, none of the items purchased previiously could be returned or exchanged.
I communicated via email that I would need to replace the 28 items that were not usable for my client and then subsequently requested a quote. This time the sizes I sent were interpreted as CHEST sizes so again I do not have enough of the bigger sizes. As expected, the merchant cannot be bothered about my horrid experience and has made no effort to correct anything as the accepted quotation exempts from any kind of liability. I got what I ordered!
There is a very clear lack of understanding of the product and the manufacturer, Bull workwear, should reconsider their asscociation with Simon Workwear as a distributor. I was prepared to pay for the mistake the first time and chalk it up to my naivety, acting on the advise of an expert in this field regarding the fit. (I am assuming that people, like GARY, who have corner offices and meet clients in boardrooms for large orders in such establishments have a firm grip on what they are selling!) I will not keep quiet this time because an R8000 mistake was REPEATED. Your customers should know that they shop at their own peril and that there is no good faith in any dealings with you.
Someone else will fix your mistake and they will have my business going forward. I will pay a premium always to do business with people I can trust and rely on. It beats paying and not knowing what I will receive.
