PLASTER IN PACKET OF SIMBA CHIPS

What a disappointing experience my husband had with Simba. He bought a big packet of Simba chips, salt and vinegar flavor to be exact. Upon eating and getting to almost the bottom of the pack, he found a plaster in the pack. Believe you me a plaster, that had obviously been on a persons finger before it landed in the pack of chips. Long story short, so we report this to Simba (PepsiCo) wanting them to investigate the matter only for them to exonerate themselves by saying it could never have happened through their processes and on top of that insinuating that it had be placed there.

Their response

"Given our manufacturing process flow, it is very unlikely for a foreign object to enter at any manufacturing stage. The factory’s food safety protocols include thorough foreign object detection and employee monitoring. These measures and set up make this process very secure against foreign object contamination, aligning with the highest safety and quality standards. We are confident that the foreign matter contamination did not occur in our manufacturing facility. We have also not received any similar complaints"

They left me dumbstruck, knowing they are a big company, I assume this one will also slide since no one has the money to take them on.
