Bike trailer seller ****mers

Silverton Trading have a website and advertise on FB Marketplace..

I tried to buy a bike trailer from them. they have a few that they say they make...and the prices are excellent. After emailing and chatting on WhatsApp with them and getting a proper invoice ...I started to get suspicious when they wanted payment upfront and with an immediate clearance. So I looked a bit deeper... firstly...the "company telephone number on the website does not exist. The address they gave me does not come up on Google Maps, and most of all.. the bank account details that show on the invoice failed the verification check.

Soooo.. always the optimist... I asked them for the pin location to the "Big factory " on the website and got no answer .. just a message that they hadn't received my payment. I told them that I wanted to drive out to them and see the trailer or at least their premises....apparently...that's not the way they do business... I have to pay them the R14k and they will deliver my shiny new trailer to me. I finally got an "office" landline number to call... Some vague guy answered and said that I should pay for the trailer first... can't give me any company details, address..etc. I think these guys are ***** as hell and everyone should be aware of the ****
