Fine for returning movies late

I hired two dvds on the 23rd of September 2015 at around 20h00.<br> I only returned them on the 25 September 2015 at around 9h?o in the morning.<br> I was not told of the penalty fees incurred at the time of return.<br> Today at around 17hoo my wife went through to hire movies and was told our penalty fee is 70.00<br> What a shock!!!!<br> Is the normal pratice? I believe this is a ******* .How can one pay a penalty fee that amounts to more than the hiring costs ?<br> IS THIS A NORMAL PRACTISE OR IS THE VIDEO HIRE OVERCHARGING IT'S CUSTOMERS PENALTIES ?<br> PLEASE INVESTIGATE AND EXPOSE THIS COMPANY SILVERSTAR DVD HIRE IN NEWLANDS PRETORIA .<br>
