Silver rest guesthouse

I reserved my booking for September in July with Silver Rest Guesthouse in Mafikeng. They send me an invoice and on the 11th September when I wanted to pay, I was told that my booking has been cancelled. I was surprised but they told me that they called me on the 9th (something they cant proof) and I said I dont need rooms anymore ( a lie). I was so surprised as I didn't get any phone call from them and I even proved to them by sending them the phone records is received from them, the last being the 28th August. They said there is nothing that they can do for me and I must look for accommodation somewhere else. That was very frustrating as I'm attending an important function hence I booked i booked 3 months in advance. Very frustrating to find people in hospitality who don't care, lie and rude.
