What went wrong at the Silver Orange Bisto?

<p>The experience at this iconic Hartebeesport restaurant was rendered torturous by the intensely appalling service. It took over two and a half hours, two bottles of wine and an underwhelming starter for us to finally have our lunch.</p> <p> </p> <p>The prices are unconscionable and ludicrous, it revealed itself to be a lot of show without substance the manager / owner in his nouveau riche tight pants and his boy band hairstyle sat casually drinking wine entertaining his rather large and boisterous family instead of tending to the customers. </p> <p> </p> <p>Overall it’s a bad restaurant that appears to look an awful lot like a good one. Such a pity as the cuisine is overshadowed by the poor service.</p>
