Shocking Service and really bad customer experience

<p>Hi, so I somehow landed on the Silly Deals website and saw some pretty good prices for Smar****ches. I figured, they were cheap chinese watches, but for R250 maybe its a shrewd buy, I did research on the watches and they actually seemed quite good. I asked before buying if they'd organise the tracking numbers in which case Silly deals said they would. I purchased a watch and was told I'd have to wait X amount days. I received a tracking number after I had to request it a few times, I waited for over a month and a half, tracking the watch and waiting. I tracked it to JHB and it seemed to stay there at customs and the post office for quite some time. I eventually phoned the post office and asked if my tracking number was registered against my name and that my postal address was in Cape Town. The lady on the line at the post office got back to me and then told me that my tracking number was linked\registered to someone else living in Nelspruit. I complained to Silly Deals and they just said there was unfortunately nothing they could do and would have to refund my money. I told them this was unacceptable and I would require them to send another watch, which at first said they could not but then agreed to it after much complaining from my side. Eventually they came back to me and told me a ridiculous story that they've had issues with their suppliers in China and are no longer shipping to South Africa and would have to refund me the R250. This was going to take another 21 working days. Its now been 20 days and I'm still waiting. I pray I havent been ****med. This is ridiculous. I realise its only R250, but its not right at all!!! I have been emailing them over and over again to ask them to follow up on the refund and have had zero response. This is not on!</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards,</p> <p> </p> <p>Iain</p>
