This company is riddled with red flags
I am an owner at GreenHills Gardens in Randfontein ever since Silkon Properties took over from Mongrey managing agents we just being put through another level of depression as owners. Silkon took over at the end of September 2022 and immediately introduced special levies of R500 bumping up our levies to almost a R1200 without communicating with the owners nor tenants, we sent them countless emails still no response all i can say they just blue tick us . Spoke to Amanda, Clive, Rene and any of their agents but the assistant is on a snail mode, week in week out nothing is processed or done making us frustrated in the process as dwellers of GreenHills Gardens ..
I mean a simple meeting would be highly appreciated so that we can find solutions instead of being choke held into paying special levies and covering non-paying individuals tenants debts with our hard earned money in this harsh economy..

Greenhills Gardens was put under court administration due to the fact that it was unable to pay a very large unpaid Body corporate loan given by Propel Finance over many years
Accordingly a letter was issued to all owners, by the court administrator, inclusive of yourself explaining that a special levy was raised in order for the Body Corporate to enter in to a payment arrangement with its creditor.
Whilst your concern is noted, the "red flag" concern is misplaced and overlooks a very detailed explanation and communication sent by our office.

We asked countless times for a meeting with your company, so that you can individually claim your money from non paying people, I mean you have a list of units that owe over 100k from the statements that Mongrey handed over to you when Silkon took over but no you have to now force us to pay double the amount of levies and still not attending to your mandate of getting the outstanding money from the guys who are not paying those levies to date, which is really absurd.
So even now I am asking you to set up a face to face meeting with the Owners and Tenants of GreenHills Gardens so that we can have a proper discussion regarding this case ..
Time and Date will be highly appreciated
