No response to my request to get excess payment refund in my Levy account refunded.

I thought this company was professional but its quite the opposite. I paid in some excess money in my Levy account in May 2020 for didi heroes village complex in Mohlakeng and my account currently has a credit of R9000. I requested some of that Credit (R7000) to be refunded to me to cover an emergency on 25 Jan 2021 and so far i'm being sent from pillar to post to get my own money back. I was given a number of someone called Colin and it just goes to voicemail.

I sent a formal request on 25 Jan 2021 and got reference number 37637. Should i now go to the ombudsman for such a small matter to get my own money?
