Incorrect Billing

Good Day

I see that you have done corrections to my bill today after our conversation on 25 June 2024, but I am not happy with the amount credited of R245.85 and charge of R3.57 debt collection fee and my account was not in arrears.

Please can you send me the calculation of my usage and Kwh used to bill me R2293.20 for month of June.

Amount charged 2293.20 ÷ Usage 637 = 3.60 per Kwh

As per above you increased my Kwh by 1.25

Take note of correct billing for City of Ekhurhuleni (Schedule-2-of-Electricity-Tariffs-2023-24), you increased mine by 53.19%

Please can I ask that you correct my bill and no extra charges added to my bill that I don’t know before payment can be made for this month.

Your urgent feedback will be highly appreciated to avoid my account going into arrears.

If this matter is not resolved, I will be taking this to the Municipality for billing wrong tariffs for City of Ekurhuleni.
