A Disheartening Experience - Not Recommended

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Slik Stitches, and it is with a heavy heart that I cannot recommend their services to anyone. My journey with them started on a positive note but quickly turned into a nightmare.

Upon my first visit to choose a dress, the staff at Slik Stitches were incredibly helpful and made me feel like royalty. The initial experience was so positive that I felt confident about my decision to purchase a dress from them. Unfortunately, the joy was short-lived.

When my dress finally arrived, it was an absolute disaster. The material was incorrect, and the sizing was shockingly wrong. The top part was three sizes too big, while the skirt was so small that I couldn't even sit down comfortably. Shocked and dismayed, I approached the staff to address the issue.

To my surprise, the once-friendly and helpful team turned mean, rude, and defensive. Instead of acknowledging their mistake and working towards a solution. Their lack of accountability was truly disheartening.

Having lost a significant amount of money (R16,000), I later discovered that my experience was not isolated. Upon researching reviews, I found a pattern of Slik Stitches delivering subpar products and providing poor customer service. I deeply regret not heeding the warning signs earlier.

In an attempt to rectify the situation, I requested a refund. However, Slik Stitches only got back to me 2 weeks after my wedding, they offered the dress I fit when I initially chose the dress at an additional cost of R9,000. This was not only an unfair solution but also an unnecessary financial burden after the distressing experience I had already endured.

My advice to anyone considering Slik Stitches is to approach with caution. The initial positive experience may be misleading, and the consequences of their mistakes can be costly. It's crucial to thoroughly research and consider customer reviews before making any commitments. I sincerely hope that others can learn from my unfortunate experience and avoid the distress and financial loss I encountered with Slik Stitches.
