Worst Experience buying from a Private Dealership

<div>My experience with Signature Motors was far from smooth and easy. I decided to give a private dealership a chance and purchased a Mazda 2 which we had seen online on Cars.co.za. I am from KZN and the vehicle was in Gauteng so I was unable to view the vehicle myself. On taking delivery of the vehicle, there were several issues we found with the vehicle, the first was the fact that the vehicle was involved in an accident which was not disclosed. On enquiring and insisting the vehicle be taken to Mazda for the 108 check, it was disclosed that the vehicle did in fact have some kind of front accident. The compressor on the aircon was also a problem and as the car was under warranty, I asked Signature Motors to take it to a Mazda near me or that I would but was told told that they would want to have everything sorted before giving me back the vehicle, and they insisted on taking it to a Mazda of their choice, so I obliged. I, later in that week, on enquiring on the progress of the vehicle found out that the vehicle not taken to Mazda but some workshop of their choice. Now bear in mind that the car is under warranty and needed to be done by Mazda for future warranties to be honoured by Mazda. I was really upset and frustrated and advised that it is not acceptable. I was then told that it’s best to cancel the deal which I was very happy to do. The deposit was paid back on the Monday we I spoke to them on Friday. They however took another 2 days to settle with Wesbank which caused a delay in me purchasing another vehicle. They blamed this on Wesbank not providing the settlement figures to them. On enquiring with Wesbank, I was told that each dealership had a portal from which they get the figure and whatever is needed. Again, another mislead. I have requested from them the cancellation letter from Wesbank but my emails have been ignored. I was initially getting some kind of good Co-operation from Signature Motors until I began questioning and requesting the vehicle being assessed. I have cannot and will not deal with being misled. I would seriously re-consider if buying from Signature Motors</div>

Good day, We were not dishonest or misleading in anyway. We provided you with all the reports from the Franchise dealer as per your request and we tried to assist you on every request. You requested to cancel the deal and we agreed to the cancellation to maintain a positive relationship with you. This review is unnecessary and defamatory against us.

Reviewer Update
I have every email that occurred between Signature Motors and myself. The fact that the vehicle was involved in accident was not disclosed. We had pointed out the fact that the battery cover was missing, the clips holding the bumper were missing, the fender being misaligned, e.t.c when taking delivery. Wilfred who is the DP, during his telephonic call to me actually suggested cancelling the deal and apologised for the problems which was fine with me. He said he is number 2 on Hello Peter and would like to keep it that way. I did re-iterate that I would not write a review/report as long as the matter was settled amicably. Again there are emails confirming this. I have not disputed the fact that Cheryl did assist but I was not at any point made aware that the vehicle was not being taken to a Mazda dealership to have the aircon sorted. And you have still not sent me the cancellation agreement from Wesbank or rep**** to my email in that regard. I have not set out to defame you but to make other customers aware of what they can face, which I think was necessary in my opinion
