Signature Lux Hotel Sandton - gave out a guests information

The staff at the hotel gave my niece's room number to another guest at the hotel because this stranger had begged them for it. This is a serious breach of an individuals right to privacy.

They might be under renovation but this level of professionalism is unacceptable. It leads to the question is this just the culture that is in place at Signature Lux Hotel? Are staff aware of these rules or do they choose to flout them as they see fit? The lack of awareness of what that person was doing in giving that information is quite frankly alarming.

This man who my niece had never spoken to came knocking at her door. If something had happened to her would the hotel have taken responsibility? Considering all that is happening in South Africa regarding Gender based violence the hotel and its staff should have done better.

My family are frequent visitors to this hotel but that will no longer be the case. There is no longer any trust.
