Absolute HORRID place to stay

<p>I am really the least finicky person I know, so I do not generally have something to complain about when it comes to hotels or guest houses, but this was the most terrible hotel I have EVER stayed in! I did not have any hot water! When I tried to run a bath (before discovering the lack of hot water), the water was red-brown and full of black particles. The pillowcases in my room were yellow from use and the sheets on the bed are clearly a size too small, since the fitted sheet and mattress protector kept sliding upwards and I woke up the next morning lying directly on the mattress. The towels were clearly also old - more grey than white and not soft and comfortable at all. The breakfast personnel did not assist in any way with the serving of hot food. I don't mind lifting the lids and dishing up myself, but if there is no space to put a huge lid and they stand around and stare at me while I have it in my hand, clearly looking at a loss of what to do with it, at the same time trying to get food on my plate (repeating the lifting and standing around for the bacon, eggs, sausage etc.), I get annoyed. Further the scrambled egg had yellow water drifting around in a big puddle in the middle of the dish. This whole experience was kind of gross. I felt like I was at a Backpacker's, while paying R900!!! The manager was nowhere to be seen and the personnel at the desk just stared at guests with a blank expression on their faces when they reported something. I am really disgusted.</p>
