Please be aware Siemens coffee machine are not good.

Please be aware that despite what you may have thought (as I used to) Siemens products are of very poor quality and as noted by others there is no product support our repair service or what there is is useless. I REALLY wish I had read the Siemens reviews before making my purchase and I sincerely hope you do and do not make them same mistake as I diid.

With regret I bought a R14 000 Siemens coffee machine from Hirsch. With in two weeks, it broke down as the grinder just started grinding and would not stop. This was 'fixed'. About a month later the exact same thing happened. It was again "fixed". Needless to say the EXACT same thing happen two more times over the 1st year. I emphasize the exact same thing was 'repaired' 4 times. Now of course the so called garentee has run out, and there is no prize for guessing what has happened. Well of course the exact same thing has happen. This time Siemens wants me to pay R3000 to fix it!!! Truely unbelievable. I guess this is a ****? If they have not fixed it 4 times before, why would it be fixed this time? R3000 this time then what another R 3000 in a month etc.....truly crazy. So basically I refuse to throw good money after bad and now have a useless R14000 piece of junk.

I really and truely regret buying a Siemens product. In effect I have made a R14000 donation to Siemens and Hirsch. I will buy a new coffee machine (my previous one lasted 11 years without issue (not a Siemens) but DEFINITELY not from Hirsch or a Siemens product!

What is even crazier is that if it cost Siemens R3000 ever time they fixed the same thing, they have spent more on repairing the machine than they sell it for. Definition of stupidity?....... doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome....
