Sneakers two diffrent sizes

Bought a pair of sneakers at Side Step at a different store, the associate gave the wrong sizes that I noticed when arrived at home. I went to go exchange the pair at Northgate Johannesburg and they said No. We can go complain at head office. Who is the area manager at Side step? We would like a refund , if this cant be sorted out .
