refusal to refund me after purchasing

I bought shoes for 3000 at Side in limpopo before travelling to Gauteng, When I got to gauteng the shoes did not fit my daughter and my brother did no like what I had bought for him. so the only way was to return the items, Mall of Africa refused to give me refund and escallated the issue to their head office which asked a copy of my ID, giftcard and bank statement for refund. next thing I was told they cant refund me because I used gift card to purchase. now I am told to exchange for something else as they cannot refund me. I feel ****med because I cant take something I don't like or want. this is **** and I am not amazed to hear such from the store that sells **** items. seriously we will meet at Ombudsman
