Bad Customer Service

I bought Vans sneakers for my daughter at Side Step in The Glen Mall Oakdene 4 days ago and when she fitted them she realized that I took the big size for her and she didn’t like the pink color that I chose for her as well. Yesterday the 11 Jan 2020 went to Side Step in Mall of the South to exchange the sneakers, there were two guys( employees) in the store working but none of them offered help until we asked for help ourselves, eventually this skinny guy with gold/ silver tooth came to assist. We explained to him that we came to exchange the sneakers for the right size and color then he told us straight in our face that he has the right size that we wanted to exchange for, but for the mere fact that we didn’t buy the sneakers to them then we should go and exchange them at the store where we purchased them and that we give business to the store at The Glen Mall the next thing we want exchange at their store at The Mall of the South, another reason was that he cannot exchange it for us because they don’t have the pink color in their store so his manager is going to ask questions about why did he exchange pink color for black and white, I tried to explain that never mind I purchased those sneakers at The Glen mall but at the end of the day it’s the same store, it shouldn’t be a problem to exchange them and he refused. I got annoyed with the attitude and we left the store without being helped then went to The Glen to exchange them which they did without question asked. I can’t tolerate this kind of treatment therefore can this matter be taken up with Side Step store at The Mall of the South please.
