UNUSABLE PARTS SUPP**** BY SHY STAR

On 05/05/2020 just as we opened to work on essential workers vehicles I got a quotation from Less at Shy Star Motor Spares. We were instructed by the assessor of the insureds vehicle to get the parts from them.. They said they know about the parts sourced and sent me a proforma invoice of R9200.00. This included a FR Bumper, Radiator, Aircon Radiator and Aircharge Cooler. They phoned every now and then to hear if I am still taking the parts and first give a account number to deposit the money into and the afterwards another number to use. As the assessment said "guaranteed used parts" we never queried the quality of the parts. We did the payment and sent the couriers to pick up the parts. We are in Potchefstroom and they are in Pretoria. When we received the parts it was in an unusable state. Even worse than the damaged ones on our clients vehicle. I immediately sent them emails and watts up messages stating that we are not satisfied with the quality of the parts of which I have photos and that we will make arrangements to sent it back to them and that they must make arrangements to repay us. No where on the proforma invoice it stated that they do not accept parts back. They indicated and insisted that the insurance and the assessor phone them and that is what they sticked by. No refunds and no offer to exchange the **** that they have sent us. So in short we would say please do not buy anything from them if you cannot inspect the part very carefully. Do not make eft payments and believe that they will sent you something that is in fact usable. Bumper is broken and so badly repaired previously. Radiators leaking and damaged. And please take note of their non return policy on anything you buy.. but this being said only after they have the payment....
