Why no ps3 app yet?

I am not very happy with showmax becuase they keep on saying that they will have a app for the ps3 soon but that app never comes, for the ps4 they have but not for the ps3. Do you know how many ps3 users there are? If you do not add app as promised soon, then I will cancel and rather have netflix which has an app for ps3 and is well supported with many updates. Please keep your promises!
