Showmax/Capitec non-offer

" At the start of the new year I bought a voucher for R49 to get 50% off a month's subscription. I've come to the conclusion that this is a **** because I cannot redeem the voucher. The process involves receiving an OTP which does not arrive. Neither Showmax nor Capitec can resolve this. "it has been an ongoing issue that most of our customers are experiencing," says the chat line. Getting to this point has taken hours - many trying to get someone to advise me. I'm giving up and will request Capitec to refund my R49. Next round of frustration starts . . .
